Steel is the world's most infinitely recyclable engineering material. At Nav Durga Ispat, we are committed to progressive environmental stewardship through resource efficiency, waste heat recovery, and zero liquid discharge operations at our Urla, Raipur facility.

Our modern reheating furnace incorporates high-efficiency recuperators that preheat combustion air using flue gas exhaust, dramatically reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions per ton of hot-rolled structural steel.

Occupational Health & Workplace Safety

Zero Harm Policy

Every rolling mill operation strictly enforces mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE), thermal shielding, and automated handling to protect shop-floor workers.

Closed-Loop Water Management

All roll cooling water is treated in settling scale pits, oil-separated, filtered, and recirculated through cooling towers with zero untreated effluent discharge.

Mill Scale Recovery

100% of mill scale and crop end cuttings generated during rolling are recovered and diverted back to primary smelting units for circular iron recovery.
